Travis Penrod, the Chief Executive Officer of Interstate Companies, Inc., is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business, including its operating divisions and corporate office in Minneapolis. He joined the company in 1998, and has held positions as IT Manager and Corporate Vice President. In 2004, he was named President of Interstate Power Systems, Inc., overseeing four divisions. He was promoted to CEO in 2010. A native of Montana, he moved to Minnesota in 1987 to attend college. He has three children and seven grandchildren.
