Company Success
Drives Charity Success
The charitable success of The Second Step Foundation is now partnered by the employees at Interstate Companies, Inc. Their hard work at dozens of branches in communities across 14 states fuels the success of our privately held company.
Each year, a portion of Interstate’s profits are donated to the foundation to help meet the needs of the communities where we operate. Our company’s ongoing success gives back to the places where our employees live.

Our Communities
Each year, charities in 30 Interstate markets receive donations make on behalf of employees who work at branches from Interstate’s divisions – I-State Truck Centers, Interstate Power Systems, Interstate Energy Systems, Interstate Bearing Systems, and Interstate Assembly Systems.
Foundation board members welcomed suggestions from Interstate employees, some of whom have personal experiences with organizations that do such good work in their communities. The board did further research on nominated charities and made the selections.
